A mixed use scheme with the regeneration of a disused yard just off Sharrow Vale Road, including a new building on Gordon Road with 15 residential apartments, and 9,800 sq.ft of commercial / retail space across a range of new and converted existing buildings, including a characterful former church Mission Hall, served by a new outdoor public space.
The completed courtyard opened in Summer 2020 – providing outdoor space for the restaurant and café units as well as hosting the Dyson Place and Sharrow Vale markets – and has quickly become a popular destination within the Sharrow Vale Road shopping area. The development was a finalist in the Sheffield Design Awards 2022 in the Large Project, Conservation, Open Spaces and Interiors categories.
Alongside the food & drink offering, Dyson Place and the Artisans’ Yard workshop units currently host a unique selection of independent traders, health clinics and hairdressers.
